[Update] - I changed the frame rate to 20fps and double the amount of frames to 20. It looks smoother and more accurately paced now.

Just a quick sketch of the classic human walk cycle. Pretty rough, did this in about 30 minutes, could've spent more time on the movement and such, but I kinda like it cuz it has the bounce and the weight of the walk and the guy has some expression to him. This is guy, girls walk differently, in animation at least.

Hope you all like it! I have a bunch of traditional art I could submit but I've been too lazy to scan it and stuff. I've also been working on warrior cats of course!

But hopefully you're not all bored with me ^^;

Hey buddy. Glad to see a post by you, and here I am to critique.

First of all, very nice job on the scaling, everything seems to fall into place.

The motion and speed is very fluid, it has a good rythm to it. It follows anatomy pretty well, so it feels like there is a solid skeleton underneath that flesh.

Now for the pointers:
The arms have a bit of an unnatural swing to them. I'm not implying that they go back any further, it's just that the recoil to be shot back up seems a bit large. With the speed that the figure appears to be going (Which is like a walk/run hybrid) the left arm appears to rock forward in a very natural way then snap back. It is obviously a kink due to the looping, but still.

Other than that, all I can say is SLOW DOWN. There needs to be a handful more frames in between to make this less a fast walk, and more a normal walk.

Good job mate!

very very nice could use some work just a lil but with the waist movements but its ok since you probably did this for fun and all its really good compared to what animation i have seen over the years pluse i have been watching sss warrior cats great animation in the and movments but purrrrr-fect maybe a lil bit less shading your going to hard on it mostly on the right leg but really good work i could have never done as good as that really maybe if you took more time for it it it would look amazing great work in animation but nice job =moonfur

wow, that's pretty cool. I just started animating and I think, it's awesome, that you can do this in such a little amount of time.
Do you have any tips for a starter like me? Program, etc?
Would it be ok for you, if I use this as a help for my project? don't worry, I wont just copy it)

the arms seem a little too floppy, sort of like noodles if you know what i mean. should've expanded more on the elbow. otherwise though, it's really smooth and i'd say well-done c:
