Ok! Where to start?! I guess I will start on the blending of the BG. I think you did a very good job of turning such a dark purple, to such a bright orange-ish, yellow. The two colors blend in very well with each other, and don't disturb the main portrait itself.
Now for the animals in the BG The fox, I would have to say is nicely painted out, and the shading is pretty accurate, the only thing that bothers me is the little spot above the foxes (foxes view) left eye, on how there is a small patch of fur maybe coming over just a smudge. But thats just probably me, besides that its alright :3
Now for the bird. I'm guessing its some kind of hawk or falcon, the shading is once again, fairly well done, the only thing I see wrong with it is its beak. Most carnivorous birds would have a small or large curve on their beak, suited for the prey eating part of their lives. The again, I am only assuming its a carnivore :3
Phew, ok now onto the wolf! I like the angle you have the wolf facing, the only thing I can see wrong is the mouth. Its right i believe, but I think its just the angle its set in, just puts it off a bit.
Now the cat! Anatomy and shading look well done, and I can't say there is much I can say about it.
Now onto the last portain of your portrait. You! I think the expression you gave yourself in this. Its a very deep in thought, yet happy look The mixture and stroke you put the paint in was fairly well done, showing the creases in you sweater, and anatomy of the hand was well brought out. I think over all the portrait has nice shading, and designs to it.
Once again, well done on another art piece! <3
